👋🏼 Hi, I'm Lucas Da Cruz.

I'm a Software Engineer with 4+ years of experience across backend systems, distributed architecture, DevOps, and cloud infrastructure. I'm drawn to building things that are reliable and correct, and I'm always pushing into new technical territory. Currently, I have been building projects around systems programming in C++ and Go.

At Ecolab I've worked across distributed IoT systems, cloud infrastructure, developer tooling, and most recently AI-powered product systems. On the side I freelance with startups on interesting problems, most recently at Torchlight.
